Nexos is born as an audiovisual project supporting the UN initiative of the Alliance of Civilizations. Nexos is a multicultural project, which is launched with the help and cooperation of several public and private institutions from different countries in the East and West, which will accommodate the views and opinions of different cultures and religions.

Ambitious in its design and objectives, Nexos is intended to be a pillar in a series of actions and initiatives to build a long bridge where the main points that guides this initiative are respect for human rights and coexistence among civilizations.
  
Nexos wants to reflect the reality of the people who are part of both worlds through the knowledge of the "other", what unites us as human beings, fostering respect, understanding and tolerance in a framework in which cultural diversity, socioeconomic, linguistic and religious diversity have made possible the birth of civilizations.
  
Nexos is a plural project, where people of different nationalities are working to raise awareness of the initiatives that from the Alliance of Civilizations are taking place. This is not to theorize or to explain lines of action or to resolve political and social conflicts but to bring the public the information and tools necessary to understand, share and enjoy with the knowledge and to learn from other cultures, their peculiarities and diversities.

We just simply try to know what we have in common, show the point of view of the people in the street, at the marketplace, at school, in the countryside, at the factory… and share their personal aspirations, their reasons to live in their countries or in other countries with different roots and customs. And also look for the links we have in common from historical, religious, cultural and traditional angles.
