Well, at last we are on the road. After months of preparation, long hours of research and mentally imagining the places where we're going to shoot, finally comes the yearned moment: the journey. The moment in which reality probably will derail what we planned and in return will offer us something better; life.
Nowadays the only feeling you have of the travelling experience is at the Airport or at least the feeling of displacement. Once you get to the vast terminal, you don’t stop moving. There are endless corridors to walk until you reach customs. After that, you have to walk one kilometre to the boarding counters. Then passport control, then you get on a train that leads you to a huge new terminal and finally another pilgrimage to the plane. Our feet hurt, we have blisters on our hands after dragging our heavy hand luggage. So we collapsed in our seats, and that will continue for a few hours. You sit, read, sleep, eat and get impatience without feeling the slightest sense of movement. A time in which you travel but you do absolutely nothing. Like when you are lying on your sofa at home in any given afternoon but even more uncomfortable. And finally, the stewardess informs you that you've arrived; but you feel like you are in square one.
