Short film about Calcuta Ondoan, a NGO founded in 1999 which finances projects in India, designed for the social, sanitary and economical development of the poorest people. It’s main goal is to be near of those who suffer abandonment and complete indifference from society. At the same time, their mission there is to make people aware of the reality of abandonment and helplessness in which a great part of humanity lives, inviting them to share and to grow both humanly and spiritually. Dorfak is the largest crater of Iran with 2705 meter height and is located in 50km from south east of Rasht. The slope of Dorfak volcano is suitable for summer quarters for the people who came from the munid villages and jungles for animal husbandry. This film documents the life of these formidable people and their ability to overcome incredible hurdles to thrive in this rugged terrain.
