Artists: Zuco 103
The founders of Brazilectro, Zuco 103, have done it again. Their newest album, After the Carnaval, makes ears salivate and hearts jump. The bond between Rio-born vocalist/lyricist *Lilian Vieira*, keyboard man/producer *Stefan Schmid* (Munich) and drummer/producer *Stefan Kruger* (Amsterdam) goes back to 1998. The characteristic Zuco 103-sound lies in their choice of additives (Afro-Cuban, drum ’n bass, Ethiopian, West-African and dub) that they’ve mixed along the way. Thanks to Dox

Artists: Mamady Keita & Sewa Kan Considered as the greatest "djembefola" alive in the world, Mamady Keita was born in the savannah of Guinea. Soon after he began playing the "Djembé" became the main percussion of the National Ballet of Guinea. Currently living in Belgium, he founded the Tam Tam Mandingue percussion school and created the group Sewa Kan, whose literal meaning is "no music, no joy, but without joy, no music," formed by seven percussionists and two exceptional dancers-singers . Both in their presentations and in their recordings, Keita and his musicians are explore the mandingo rhythms and its variety, a delicate and complete fusion of drums, songs and dances.
